Christina Shonkwiler has been working with healing through the arts for almost 2 decades. While working intensively in theater, she found that feelings of unworthiness, a critical voice and a sense of disconnection can shape an identity that does not serve our well-being or allow a creative flow. Using Depth Hypnosis, Christina works with you to unwind the layers that are obscuring the potential of life. With compassion for the wisdom that brought each of us to this moment, wounds may be known and given their rightful place. From here, a deeper self may reconnect with its own natural sense of value and power. A life of authentic connection is possible.
As a Minister in the Foundation of the Sacred Stream, Christina offers spiritual direction and ceremonies (large and small) to mark rites of passage and life transitions. She supports sharing joy and grief in community, and works as a hospice volunteer. Christina holds an MA in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Drama Therapy from California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS). She is also a practitioner of Family Constellations, and has trained in Shamanic Counseling and Energy Medicine with Isa Gucciardi, Ph.D.
